I just got my new laptop: A Lenovo Thinkpad W510. Great machine. I used to have a Dell laptop but I was so disapointed with the support service and with the reliability that I changed!
I did install Windows Server 2008 R2 and configured it with Hyper-V and everything works smoothly and fine so far. Just discovered that the W510 integrates a mobile broadband extension so i can use my 3G connection without having this extra annoying USB extension plugged-in , if not forgotten at home...

Note : i had to get the Ethernet driver from the Intel download page: the one provided by Lenovo for Windows 7 does not work on Windows Server 2008 R2:
